There is this story in the news about the introduction of death sentence in Abuja, Nigeria for those caught as prostitutes and those caught as their patrons.The most suspicious part of that piece of news is that no reference is made to the provision of the law that introduces this capital punishment for prostitution.

In Nigeria, it is embedded in our constitution that nobody can be punished for an offence that is not expressly written down with the punishment thereof.So, I do not know where that news came from.The members of the Nigerian public should ignore it.
