WELCOME TO MY BLOG TODAY!

As a follow-up to my yesterday's post, do you know that the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria too is not an exception to the limitation to the immunity clause enjoyed under our constitution?

Section 143 of the Constitution provides that the Chief Justice of Nigeria shall appoint a seven - man panel at the request of the President of the Senate to investigate any allegation of misconduct against the President signed by not less than one third of the members of the National Assembly. If found guilty by the panel, the president shall stand removed from office as from the date the report of the panel is adopted by two-thirds majority of the members of each House of the National Assembly.
